Grigore Vieru (February 14, 1935–January 18, 2009) was a Romanian poet and writer from Moldova.
Moldavian poet and writer Grigore Vieru, 73, died Sunday morning at the Emergency Hospital in Moldova's capital city Chisinau .
A month before one of the local television was asking who is the most influential man in Moldova. He answered :"Jesus Christ!"
Reporter asked him :"But is Jesus Moldavian?"
His answer was:"He was Moldavian and will be Moldavian as long as we believe in Him!"
This is truth! Moldova needs Jesus!
Thank God for Grigore Vieru's life,he was living for his Saviour and for his country!
